2-19 update

Hello all

I have a lot of info for you here today.  First I’d like to thank everyone who came out to Januarys match.   We had 36 competitors plus reshoots for around 48 total score cards.  That is a very good turn out!  We will make sure this month runs a little smoother.

This month’s match will be on Sunday the 28th.  Again we will setup starting at 8:00 am and start shooting once its ready.
This month there will be no classifier.  I am sorry to those trying to get classified before summer matches but when we asked around most people would rather not have it and so we listend. March there will be a classifier!  We will only have 3 stages this month but I think many of you will enjoy them.   These three stages will really test all of your skills.  Also it will run more smoothly and allow for more reshoots as I am sure that many of you will want to reshoot some of these!
I will post the stages on Monday the 22nd.

Nationals Slots will be given out soon.  If you are interested please email Chris at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .  I do not know how many slots we will have yet.  They will be given out in this order: Milan Club members, Regular Milan Uspsa shooters (more than 6 matches last year, Everyone else.
They will be given out in the order people sign up.  Please only email me if you really can and plan on going! 

We held a logo contest and we had over 15 entries from 9 different people.  We are please to announce the winner is Shari Neal of Waterloo Iowa!  I will send the logo out in the email.  She has won 2 free entries to any of our standard matches.  Congrats Shari!

January Match

I would like to thank every one who came out today.  We ahd over 50 people with reshoots not sure yet how many people but that is a really good turn out. I was really thinking we would be lucky to get 25.  I want to say thanks to every one who helped out with the new guys we had 6 new people today and I think they will all be back!  I also wanan thank dan, zack and joe for helping me set up and any one else who pitched in there.  Also wanna thank John and his wife for staying and helping all day and doug for helping tear down.

It will be a few days before we get scores out as we have none of the old info so everything must be enterd from scratch.

We will accept stages for next month if any one wants to submit them.  I believe next month we will just do 4 stages 2 per bay with less targets and some more challenging shots and such and not do a classifier.

Jan. 31st match

We will be having our match on Jan 31st.  It will be 4 stages 60 rounds and indoor match.  We will set up at 8 am we will start shooting as soons as it is set up.  The match will cost 10$  After the match every one is invited to a mini pin tourney at Shooting Sports Unlimited in moline. 

Mini-pins will be held  at 3pm. This is a 22 rimfire standard velocity, steel plate match. You will knock down five steel plates and we will record the time taken to do so. You will do this for a total of four times, we then throw out your slowest time and add the remaining three together. The fastest overalll time is declared the winner

I hope to see you all out at the range and then over at Shooting Sports. Lets kick off the snow and get shooting!
